Raymond Werth's Final Project Website for CSIS-1430

Here is a list of all my work compiled into one page to show off the skills that I have gained throughout the 2022 Fall Semester.

My Projects for this Class:

Early Projects:

YouTube Video Page

Mappin' It

Super Heroes Page

Little Boxes

Horizontal Menu

What we have here are some projects that are only built off of html and css. These were very fun to make and it made me learn a lot about the basics in general.

Midterm:

Ray's Pizzeria

This is our midterm and I feel like it turned out pretty well. This was also only based off of html and css. The assignment gave me a great understanding of how it would be to work as a front-end developer which in this case was making the front-end of a pizza site.

JavaScript Fun:

Happy Birthday

Lottery

Mab Lib

Tic Tac Toe

Right here is where javascript gets implemented to add some functionality to our websites. I thought that it was very interesting to learn overall since it's something that is very much needed for both front-end and back-end type developement.

My Final Thoughts...

Overall this was class was a blast! Had a lot of fun learning about the raw mechanics when it came to making the front-end of websites. Before taking this class I had an idea of what languages we would be using, however, to see it all come together was a really interesting experience. Something about making a website from scratch is very similar to when a artist sees a blank canvas, the amount of potential that canvas has is very vast with the way their creativity can be expressed. Aside from that analogy, I really like seeing how there is a ton of job opportunties with the skills we learned here.
